In 2016 Uchu became the manager of the pharmacy service at St Mark’s Hospital, The National Bowel Hospital. Under her leadership, the pharmacy service expanded significantly, with specialist teams in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Homecare, Hepatology, Surgical Prehabilitation and Colorectal Surgery, establishing St Mark’s pharmacy as national and international leaders in these fields. Since 2020, Uchu has dedicated her clinical practice to Intestinal Rehabilitation and Nutrition. Uchu has spoken at numerous conferences and published extensively. In April 2023, became the first consultant level pharmacist at St Mark’s Hospital. This appointment underscores her extensive contributions and expertise in her field.
