TEMBI CHINAIRE is a diabetes educator, certified nutrition adviser and diabetes consultant nurse. She has extensive public and private healthcare experience, having set up or led diabetes services for over 14 years in England, UK. Tembi is the author of "Type 2 Diabetes Navigation Guide for everyone of African, South Asian and Middle Eastern descent". She is committed to equipping people with the tools to become drivers of their own healthcare so they can live richer and more fulfilling lives and has written and delivered tailored diabetes education programmes in the Middle East, Africa, and the UK. Tembi is passionate about preventing type 2 diabetes and reducing the onset and progression of complications for those already diagnosed with the disease. She is a Florence Nightingale Travel Scholarship winner and is a current member of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) Diabetes Guidelines Update Committee in England, UK.
