I have been the Women's Health Pharmacist in NHS Ayrshire and Arran for 5 years now. I am one of the contraceptive champions within the health board and am a member of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (FSRH). I was the first pharmacist in Scotland to gain the Letter of Competence in Subdermal Implant Insertion (LoCSDI) and I provide this service to women within the post-natal ward at Ayrshire Maternity Unit.
