Rita has worked across various sectors of pharmacy including industry, hospital and primary care with more than 16 years working for primary care and training and education organisations.  Rita spent 9 years working as a CCG project development pharmacist and led on numerous bespoke medicines optimisations projects.  Following this Rita moved to a community pharmacy clinical lead role at NEL ICB and is currently leading on the IP pathfinder programme and supporting community pharmacy workforce development. In tandem, Rita has also worked part-time at CPPE for the last 7 years as an education supervisor to pharmacy professionals in general practice and newly qualified pharmacists and prior to this spent 10 years as a regional training facilitator to hospital foundation trainee pharmacists.
