Rena Amin

Associate Director, Learning Disability & Autism, NHS SEL ICB
Rena is an Independent Pharmacist Prescriber and currently holds a corporate, clinical and mentoring role in her professional capacity. She is passionate about promoting the value proposition of pharmacists within NHS and has been instrumental in developing the role of clinical pharmacists in General Practice. Rena was a managing partner in General Practice, and through this role, she has established that pharmacist can aspire to reach their professional potential and contribute to patient care. Recently Rena has transitioned as an Associate Director, for Learning Disability & Autism, to reduce health inequalities and improve health outcomes for the neurodivergent patients. Her extensive skills have enabled her to gain a substantive role as the PCN Clinical Supervisor and Mentor and uses this platform to further improve the pharmaceutical services within the PCN. Her strengths are in corporate management and improving primary care by appropriately collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and adoption of innovative schemes. In addition to her professional roles, Rena also provides voluntary services and leads on harnessing community relations.
