Ofran is a post doctoral researcher who is qualified as a pharmacist and a statistician. Her research is focused on observational studies using large administrative datasets such as Hospital Episode Statistics and other national audit datasets and using data linkage to generate longitudinal study cohorts. Her methods focus is on the applications of causal inference to observational data and the applications of causal machine learning. She is currently working on several national observational studies with various research groups.
