Nicola is an Associate Director within the Medicines Use and Safety Team. She leads the MUS medicines optimisation workstream and SPS engagement activity, which includes webinars, conferences and podcasts. She was previously the lead for the SPS Pharmacy Integration Project, which was commissioned by NHS England to develop and deliver a range of resources to support the primary care pharmacy workforce to deliver evidence-based medicines optimisation to patients. Prior to this she was the Specialist Pharmacist Lead for Medication Safety at NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service, providing expert advice and support to Medication Safety Officers in primary and secondary care organisations across England.
