Katie spent 20 years in medicines information and was the Director of the East Anglia Medicines Information Service for 10 years. She also has experience of community pharmacy and working in general practice. She is now the Director of Clinical Quality at PrescQIPP having worked with them since their inception in 2010 and joined the team substantively in April 2018. Katie is responsible for quality assuring all the PrescQIPP resources before publication, preparing clinical evidence reviews for the Primary Care Rebates board, and occasionally writing bulletins for the programme, including the IMPACT resource to address polypharmacy, overprescribing and deprescribing.
