Co-Founder, Pharmacy Technicians of Colour (PTOC)
I am a pharmacy technician who has worked within pharmacy in the NHS for 13 years, 9 of those years I have been working as a registered technician. I have worked at 3 South London trusts, NWL CCGs and currently I am working for NHS England and Improvement. The diversity and inclusion agenda is important in every profession, for me I take a particular interest in race inequalities. I am working with both the National NHSE & I BAME network and also the NHSE & I London region network, and have worked as an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager for 6 months; but working within pharmacy, I would love to contribute to moving things forward in our profession and in particular making sure pharmacy technicians are included as we move forward. I am the co-founder of the Pharmacy Technicians of Colour (PTOC) group hope this group can work to support and promote equality for pharmacy technicians working across the UK.
