Carol became the CEO in 2016 for PrescQIPP a not-for-profit Community Interest Company that she founded in 2010 at the SHA as part of the QIPP Prescribing Workstream. In April 2013 Carol was appointed as the Director of Medicines Optimisation for the Eastern AHSN, the Assistant Director of Clinical Strategy for NHS England, East and CD Accountable Officer and in April 2015 the Head of Governance for NHS England, East. In 2014 the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain awarded Carol a fellowship and in 2018 was invited to join the NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur programme.
