Amna is driven pharmacist who has worked in secondary care for over 12 years and was the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer's Clinical Fellow 23/24 at NHS England (Transformation Directorate). She is passionate about the pharmacy profession being inclusive for all and has a keen interest in education, transformation including the use of technology to enhance patient care. Amna is passionate in developing the future pharmacy workforce and is advocate for developing the leadership opportunities for future professionals. As the RPS ambassador for North, East and Yorkshire Amna is keen to She is looking forward to connect pharmacy professionals across all sectors of practice to cultivate a network for peers to share learning, and ideas. In her previous role as a Lead Pharmacist for Renal Medicine she attained her MSc in Secondary which focussed on how the Electronic system the hospital had implemented could be developed to improve communication for transferring patients between colleagues. Using quality improvement methodologies (PDSA), and engaging key stakeholders in the project Amna was able to implement the new electronic Pharmacy Care Plan to allow colleagues to communicate effectively and deliver optimum quality of care to patients.
