This interactive workshop is designed for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working in general practice. It offers an in-depth exploration of the complexities involved in managing hypertension in patients with cardio-renal-metabolic (CRM) disease, emphasising the unique challenges and therapeutic strategies crucial for effective management. We will examine how cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic conditions contribute to and exacerbate hypertension, complicating its management. Through case studies, we will explore the interplay of these diseases, the rationale behind personalised antihypertensive drug choices, and the development of effective monitoring plans. Additionally, the workshop will cover dietary and lifestyle modifications, the application of technology in patient care, and the enhancement of communication skills to improve hypertension management in this complex patient population.
